The Cottage
Restored with intention, the cottage is an ode to simplicity and craftsmanship. Every detail has been chosen with a slower pace in mind, from the weight of the linen to the way morning light settles across the floors, with natural materials throughout bringing a sense of calm and ease.
Whether you are seeking a romantic retreat for two or a shared escape for six, the cottage offers a place of your own, where a sense of space is felt from the moment you arrive.
The Space:
Sleeps: Up to 6 guests across three thoughtfully appointed bedrooms.
The Master: Queen Bed with garden views.
Bedroom Two: Queen Bed with morning sun.
The Bunk Room: King Single bunks for the young (or young at heart).
The Heart: A fully equipped kitchen for farm-to-table cooking and a wood-fire heater in the living room for cozy relaxed nights.
The Bathroom: A spacious, light-filled bathroom with a claw-foot bath, antique French chandelier, and separate toilet.

A deep clawfoot bath with natural salts and farm botanicals.

A wood-fire heater, a generous stack of seasoned timber, and an eclectic library of authors and subjects.

150 acres of private land, home to birdsong, grazing cattle and surrounding valley hills.

Rates & Availability
To maintain the integrity of the slow-stay experience, we offer tiered pricing based on your group size, ensuring you only pay for the space you need.
The Base Rate (Includes Master Suite/2 Guests)
Midweek (Sun-Thu): From $450 per night
Weekend (Fri-Sat): From $550 per night
Additional Rooms
$100 per room, per night.
A travel cot and high chair is available upon request for infants.
Stay Requirements
Standard: 2-night minimum
Holidays: 3–4 night minimum (Seasonal rates apply)

Before You Arrive

Your Stay
Dunmore is a working farm with livestock and resident animals. For this reason, we’re unable to accommodate guest pets.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is by 11:00am. You’ll receive your arrival details the day prior.
Security Bond
A $500 bond is held as a pre-authorisation prior to your stay and released following departure. We ask that the cottage is treated with care and left as found.
Cancellations
We understand plans can change.
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior receive a full refund. 50% applies for 7–14 days. No refunds within 48 hours of arrival.
