“We didn’t set out to build a business—we simply followed the pull of place. Everything else grew from there. We feel incredibly fortunate to now blend family, farming, and a life’s work all in one”
Our Story
A City Escape That Became a Life
We first discovered Dunmore Farm in late 2017—a 150-acre property nestled in Molyullah, North East Victoria. Drawn to its red gum buildings, fertile river flats, and expansive views, we originally imagined it as a weekend retreat.
But what began as a slow restoration soon became a way of life. The pull of this place—its stillness, its beauty—reshaped everything. Within months, we traded city life for full-time farm living, and our long-term dream turned into a very immediate reality.
Restoring the Past to Make Way for the Present
Our first chapter was focused on bringing the farm back to life. We restored The Cottage—one of the oldest homesteads in the district, originally built in 1860 using red gum milled from the property itself. Local folklore suggests the young Ned Kelly once passed through its doors.
Dunmore was once a working dairy, with Jersey cows milked daily by the previous owners. While the dairy still stands, today we raise a small herd of Angus cattle and continue to care for the land with deep respect for its history.
More Than a Farm
Dunmore is now home to much more than cattle. It's a place of quiet luxury and seasonal rhythm. We’ve built a destination around the values we live by—connection, care, and creativity.
Whether you're staying in The Cottage, joining a long table feast, or simply passing through with a coffee in hand, we hope you feel the intention and warmth that underpins everything we do.
A Note From Us
At Dunmore Farm, we believe in slow mornings, shared stories, and finding beauty in the everyday.
We look forward to welcoming you to this special place we call home.
