Steeped in Tea Workshop
Steeped in Tea Workshop
Join us for a Spring morning of hand-making with Barossa-based tea blender, Cherie Hausler and jam aficionado, Michelle Crawford from Franklin,Tasmania. You’ll learn how to blend your own bespoke tea, using a base mix of familiar botanicals, along with top notes of herbs foraged from a wander through the Dunmore garden. Sip and taste your way through your choice of infusions for a deeper understanding of what makes the perfect brew, then set your hand and nose to the beautiful ritual of blending something completely unique to your taste.
To further your appreciation for the humble tea leaf, you will also learn to infuse its fragrance and flavour into a luscious seasonal jam, with tried and trusted tips to ensure you have all you need to put your own creative stamp on pots of preserves.
Drinking tea, blending tea and cooking with tea - it’s going to be a delicious day, in a gorgeous space with a bunch of lovely people.
This is an especially small-batch experience with limited tickets, so grab some friends, and come to the beautiful countryside of Dunmore Farm for the day.
